Superzeel’s Marong Cup

Wadham Park  Feb 11 2010

A step in distance helped Superzeel break through for his first win of the season in last Saturday’s Marong Cup (2200m) at Bendigo.

The son of Zabeel has now won four races and almost $100,000 in prizemoney.

Superzeel ran well for fifth in the Hanging Rock Cup (1800m) on Australia Day, but he found the extra 400m to his liking at Bendigo.

Wadham Park’s trainer Dale Sutton has now trained 32 winners this season at a strike rate of 14.4 per cent.
